Liisa Hunter is a self-taught artist. Born in 1980 in Palo Alto, CA Liisa took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. Throughout her childhood, Liisa developed an appreciation for aesthetic environments and loved to experiment with paints, pastels, charcoal and all types of cosmetics and fashion. During her time in college Liisa studied art at UC Santa Barbara and spent time living in Florence, Italy and Marbella, Spain to study art.  She took a career detour to work in branding at Silicon Valley Bank after school and then spent five years at Google and Youtube in various sales and marketing roles.  Most recently she has spent time studying art and working for the fashionable jewelry start-up Stella & Dot while pursuing her passion for painting.  Liisa now lives in San Francisco where she has created her most recent paintings of abstract landscapes.
